If you’re finding there aren’t enough hours in the day, it might be time to hand over some of your day-to-day tasks to someone else in the form of a Virtual Assistant (VA).
A secretary or personal assistant that’s ‘virtual’, so they don’t have to be employed by you or located in your office. They could be local or even in a different country.
You’re spending too much time:
- working on day to day tasks,
- dealing with admin tasks – email, finance, accounts,
- arrange meetings or making travel plans,
- on tasks that don’t generate business or income,
- avoiding the tasks you don’t like doing,
- putting off more important tasks.
If you had more time available you’d be able to:
- … clear your daily to-do list,
- … work on some of your great ideas,
- … implement or put into practice new or improved systems and processes.
- … fix things that are broken – IT, systems, processes
- … research new products, services, ideas
- … grow your business.
You can’t take time out because it’s only you!
- Never take time for a holiday.
- Have to take work with you when you do.
- Often work at evenings and weekends.
- Always on the go.
You have an ever growing list of things to do and feel you need more than one of you, it may be time to find a virtual assistant. If you free up more of your time and stop working ‘in’ the business, you could focus more time working ‘on’ your business.
